The preliminary examination is held only if the number of candidates rises excessively; it has two OMR objective papers, General Studies (100 questions, 100 marks, 1.30 hours) and Law (150 questions, 150 marks, 2.00 hours), with qualifying marks of 45% for unreserved and 40% for reserved candidates, shortlisting up to 10 times the vacancies. Candidates are called for the 100-mark interview in a 1:3 ratio on written marks, and the final merit list is the total of written and interview marks only.
How many attempts are allowed in the Bihar Judicial Services examination?
