SSC GD Constable Exam Slot Selection 2026

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened slot selection for the SSC GD Constable recruitment drive, which seeks to fill 25,487 positions across BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, NCB, SSF, and Assam Rifles. Candidates aged 18–23 years can select their preferred exam date during the 11–15 April 2026 window; the written examination itself runs from 27 April to 30 May 2026, followed by PET/PST, document verification, and medical examination. The application window closed on 31 December 2025, with fee payment completed by 1 January 2026; eligible candidates (SC/ST and all female applicants) were exempted from the exam fee. Admit cards will be issued before the exam, and selected candidates must report for the physical efficiency test and subsequent rounds as notified by SSC.
