What is the SSC JHT 2026 exam pattern?
Paper-I is a computer based objective paper with Part-I General Hindi of 100 questions for 100 marks and Part-II General English of 100 questions for 100 marks, in 2 hours with a sectional timer of 1 hour per part, and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are then shortlisted category-wise on their Paper-I marks for Paper-II, a descriptive paper of translation and essay worth 200 marks in 2 hours.
What is the age limit and fee for SSC JHT 2026?
18 to 30 years as on 01 August 2026, that is candidates born not before 02 August 1996 and not later than 01 August 2008. The fee is Rs 100, and women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted.
