Union Bank of India engaged 1,865 apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961, split as 823 Unreserved, 289 Scheduled Caste, 131 Scheduled Tribe, 447 OBC and 175 EWS seats, with 98 seats reserved horizontally for persons with benchmark disabilities and Uttar Pradesh carrying the largest state allocation at 335.
