For primary level, candidates needed Senior Secondary with 50% marks plus a teaching diploma, while upper primary required graduation with B.Ed or equivalent. UTET Examination 2025 : Exam Details
Candidates must have Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, 4-year B.El.Ed, or 2-year Diploma in Special Education, or as per NCTE norms with 45% marks. Those with Graduation and B.Ed. (50% marks) are also eligible, provided they complete a 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education within two years of appointment.
Candidates must have Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or Graduation with at least 50% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. (including Special Education), or Graduation with at least 45% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. as per NCTE norms. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed. or 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. is also accepted. Candidates appearing in the final year of these courses are eligible.
